  3. James McQuivey, Forrester researcher, estimates that one minute of video is equal to 1.8 million words. I know I can’t begin to fathom this stat, or even writing this many words.  Amazing!
  4. Forty-six percent (46%) of video watchers take some sort of action after viewing the video ad, according to the Online Publishers Association.

Bonus! Even more reasons to produce videos:

  • Video now accounts for over 57% of all consumer traffic on the internet today.  In two years this we be closer to 70%.
  • Using videos on your landing pages can increase your conversions by up to 80%
  • 64% of consumers says they would be more willing to buy a product after watching a video about said product!

Pretty interesting stats to say the least!  But keep in mind, the level of competition for video content is increasing.

  3. 73% of consumers also said that they would be more likely to make a purchase after watching videos explaining a product or service.
